Fred Hampton was born August 30, 1948, in Summit Illinois. He was a prominent activist and revolutionary leader in the Black Panther Party in Chicago. He founded the Rainbow Collation, which was class conscious and multi racial. Fred Hampton believed the key towards true liberation was bringing together the proletariat across racial, ethnic, and gender boundaries. In the new amazing documentary, The Black Panthers: Vanguard of the Revolution I learned that similar to leaders such as Malcolm X, Martin Luther King, Hampton was making an analysis of class in America, fighting the effects of capitalism; poverty, miseducation, inequity, etc. This design is part of a line of “revolutionary" t-shirts that will highlight the legacy of revolutionaries from across the African Diaspora. This updated unisex essential fits like a well-loved favorite. Super soft cotton and excellent quality print makes one to fall in love with it over and over again. .: Retail fit .: 100% Soft cotton (fibre content may vary for different colors) .: Light fabric (4.2 oz/yd² (142 g/m²)) .: Tear away label .: Runs true to size .: Relaxed fit .: 100% Soft cotton (fibre content may vary for different colors) .: Light fabric (5.2 oz /yd² (176 g/m²)) .: Tear away label .: Runs true to size
